Tucked into the basement of the Renuka Hotel, Palmyrah has been serving northern Tamil cooking to Colombo for decades. It’s the place to try Jaffna specialities — mutton curry, crab, odiyal-based dishes — without travelling to the peninsula. Old-school service and a menu that hasn’t chased a trend in its life.
